Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A Trinamool Congress leader has been accused of beating up a businessman in Panchla, located in the Howrah district of West Bengal.
The incident was captured on CCTV camera and the victim filed a complaint against the Regional President of Panchla Minority Cell at the police station. Khalil Ahmed, the accused Trinamool leader, denies the allegations and claims that the businessman filed a false complaint to oppose the sale of expired goods.
The Trinamool District President, Kalyan Ghosh, has stated that the party will not tolerate such incidents and the law will follow its course. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
